Day 2 – Santa Cruz

We had a buffet breakfast at the hotel and  sat by the pool. There were two friendly cats that stayed with us and protected against spiders. Me and mom explored the hotel finding wet and dry saunas, massage room, and gyms. Sadly we did this an hour before we had to leave and I couldn’t use their facilities. We took a taxi to the airport to our flight to Cochabamba and we saw wild emus and huge fire ant colonies. We got stopped at security and we found that Tasha had contraband. Her comb. It got taken away and we went through pretty easily. It was a very short flight and it felt like we got to altitude and started going back down instantly. We had the quickest layover ever, less than 20 minutes and we were on the next plane to Trinidad. Once we landed, we took the hotels taxi and got checked in. My dad found a plaza within walking distance of the hotel, so we went to it. The sidewalks were different for every building we passed most were in a state of disarray. It was like an obstacle course trying to get up the block. We saw and walked into various stores and cool looking buildings and shared some chicken for dinner. After this we returned to the hotel and had an early night.
